U ovoj savremenoj tinejdžerskoj komediji, tinejdžerskom otelotvorenju Šekspirove "Bogojavljanske noći", Amanda Bajns glumi devojčicu koja se prerušava u svog brata blizanca kako bi ušla u muški fudbalski tim nakon što je ženski fudbalski tim ukinut. Baš je teško biti novi momak bubalica u studentskom domu, i ako pritom nisi i nova devojka u studentskom domu koja se zaljubila u najlepšeg momka koji je totalno opsednut najlepšom devojkom, a koja se zaljubila u novog momka bubalicu iz studentstkog doma. Vajola Džonson (Amanda Bajns) je imala svoje razloge da se preruši u svog brata blizanca - Sebastijana (Džejms Kirk) i da zauzme njegovo mesto u novom internatu Ilirija Prep. Računala je na to da će Sebastijan odsustvovati iz škole, jer je pokušavao da se probije na londonskoj muzičkoj sceni. Samo nije računala na to da će se zaljubiti u svog zgodnog cimera Djuka (Čening Tejtum), koji sa svoje strane vidi samo lepu Oliviju (Lora Remzi). Da stvar bude gora, Olivija počinje da se zaljubljuje u Sebastijana koji je – iz razloga koje Olivija ne bi mogla ni da nasluti – osećajan momak kakvog je oduvek maštala da jednog dana upozna. I kao da stvari nisu dovoljno komplikovane, pravi Sebastijan je morao da se vrati iz Londona dva dana pre planiranog datuma, te tako stiže u studentski dom, pritom nemajući pojma da mu je mesto zauzela... ni manje ni više nego njegova sestra bliznakinja.
